Who's Who In The Accounting Software Zoo in AU (An Industry Update May 2013) 

The Accounting software industry in Australia is currently experiencing a lot of disruption. Increased competition together with the structural changes brought on by technologies being developed specifically for the cloud. This has meant that Accountants, Bookkeepers, Consultants and Small Business Owners & Operators are being sought out by existing and emerging software companies to take up their product offerings.

The following document is a copy of a presentation that we have been giving to Accounting Firms and Bookkeepers to assist them in gaining an overview of who are the major (current and emerging) players in this market place, also providing an understanding of "The Cloud" and it's varying types. We have also introduced the notion that whilst Small Businesses have the Accounting/Financial software as the Hub of their business, the world is moving in the direction of linking in (Adding On) and automating various business processes that seamlessly connect and interact with the software representing the Accounting / Financial Hub.
